In an alternate place there is the fictional city of Cliffside in
which the edge of the city the Western city limits are precariously
perched on the edge of a cliff. Instead of being run out of town the
disgraces of the town were pushed facing a long drop into the icy
waters below. That is until the townspeople began to evolve. Suddenly
little Jimmy from down the street was flying and Suzie was running
across town and back at lightning fast speeds. Times were changing,
and so were the town’s children. At first this change was shunned and
hidden. But soon heroes emerged and with barely a grip on their
hormones they attempted to fight evil. Of course for every hero there
is also a villain who springs up in his place. Now the city of Cliffside is
fighting an internal war waged by the heroes and the villains for
control. Some civilian’s look on in utter panic at the destruction that
ensues while others, despite not having anything extraordinary pick
up arms and fight for control, they are called the Rebels. For some
this is the fight for their lives, for others this is the ultimate question
who will triumph in the end, good or evil?
We live in troubled times.
